Our bodies often whisper before they scream. Some “small” signs are worth paying attention to.
Persistent, unexplained fatigue, even with decent sleep, could mean anaemia, thyroid issues, mood problems or other conditions. Sudden changes in weight without obvious reason deserve a check.
Frequent chest discomfort, breathlessness on small exertion, or pain radiating to jaw/arm needs urgent medical evaluation, especially if you’re older or have risk factors.
Severe, new headaches, changes in vision, blackouts, or weakness/numbness in limbs are not “normal stress”.
Ongoing digestive changes—blood in stool, long-lasting diarrhoea or constipation, severe abdominal pain—need attention, not just antacids forever.
Lumps, non-healing sores, or unusual bleeding should be shown to a doctor.
Not every symptom means something serious, but ignoring repeated or worsening signs out of fear is risky. A timely consultation can bring peace of mind—or catch something early when it’s easier to manage.
